        Highly recommend! Deb at the front desk went above and beyond with hospitality, profesiionalism, and feeling welcomed to Southport! She even reminded me to make sure to book my ferry ride over to Bald Head Island for my race before it sells out. I checked in early, got popcorn, two cookies, water, and a beautiful room. Great place, staff, and an overall awesome experience!

        Front desk staff is incredibly friendly. The room is clean and nicely finished. BUT. There is zero sound insulation between rooms. I can hear every word, cough, or sneeze, and feel every step someone takes from neighbors on either side and from the hallway. To make it worse, the AC does not have an option to run continuously for a little white noise.
