I have been waiting on a call back from this company for 2 weeks now. I have issues with the patient job that was completed in some of the rooms. The painter had an excuse for everything. I have asked the owner to call me and I haven't heard back. So after reading these reviews, it seems like that common. So I thought maybe I would post a review and finally get someone's attention! Well that worked I got a call back. They said their work is guaranteed at no additional cost. Well thats not true. They offered to fix the trim but not the walls, they would do it at a cost. No thanks. Also they only have one painter which I didnt want back bc the the job he already did. I do not recommend!! Service: Interior painting

ATTENTION SEE PHOTOS ATTACHED * Update 09/14/2023 In response the reply to this review from the owner "Hello Mrs Larkins. We have no record of doing any work for you. I believe you have this review listed under the incorrect business." Please see screenshots of emails attached... The following review is a consistent pattern also documented by other customers on the Better Business Bureau website in the following locations ( Cape Fear, Wilmington, Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand). Mr. Handyman of Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand/Wilmington and Cape Fear, provide low quality work, and false promises of resolution to their customers. Early February, I hired Mr. Handyman to do electrical, plumbing, ($6,996.00 labor & supplies) drywall, insulation ($5,148 labor only) and install a Mini Split ( $898 labor only) as advertised on their website. Mr. Handymans technician claimed the workers they hired were licensed plumbers, but by March 16, I noticed leaking in my garage, duct tape around piping, and at the advice of several bathroom remodel contractors I got a second opinion on the plumbing work. I paid for an inspection, and was provided with pictures and a summary citing several issues that the plumbing work is not up to code and that "workmanship is poor". I did not resume the installation of the Mini-Split, at the risk of being further ignored of my concerns because March 21st I reached out to Hunter Graves (owner-manager), and he said he would visit to look over the work, and collect the trash left in the garage from his technicians but he did not. Instead he sent a Mr. Handyman technician. I asked the technician for paperwork (License# of plumbers, County Permit,Inspection) and at first he said yes no problem, we went over the summary of the inspection and by the end of the visit I was told he could not provide me with Mr. Handymans paperwork. Hunter stated he would come to discuss 3 times and he has not. Hunter is claiming he is owed more than what has really been completed for the Mini Split, but the unit is still in the original packaging, and he has not been present to look at the progress or quality of the work already paid for. I have asked for my money back on the plumbing, the License # of the plumbers, County Permit and Inspection documents and they still have not been provided and the trash in my garage is still there. I feel I have been scammed, and taken advantage of, and hope others do not fall victim to this business. I included just a few photos of the inspection but there are several more, and photos of the trash left behind.100% of Mr. Handyman's work had to re-done including tearing down the, the drywall insulation ( 0 baffles were installed), the electric, and plumbing. Professional handyman services. We used them to stain our deck and screen in our porch. They also installed shiplap in our living room and repaired some exterior trim. Great quality and fair prices. They communicated well throughout the process to keep us in the loop on the work. Highly recommend them for the Wilmington, NC area!
