Thief filled bankruptcy in 2022, and doesn't pay his subs and still continues to take jobs and new customers and subs have no recourse to claim stolen money he takes from unhappy clients and steals from subs and his employees! Terrible person to call himself human?

By far the worst contractor in North Carolina. Constantly telling stories why the company cannot be punctual. Lying to homeowners about quality of work.. doing work in properly. And trying to cover it up. Unless you want your project to completely be done sloppy wrong and not on time and over budget then this is the company for you. Employees do Not clean up job sites drink on the job.

I recently had a new construction vacation home built, located over 10 hours away from my primary home. As to be expected with a long distance build, not being available to inspect progress during the build, did present some quality control issues along the way; to include a contractor who took my money, yet didnt complete the job. Probably for the better, as the work he did complete failed inspection by the town building inspector. Needing additional work done, I began my search for a reputable local contractor. After much research, I feel blessed to have found Gene Stebbins of Stebbins Home Remodeling and Repairs. Gene, as well as all of his employees (some of which I have since learned are family members), were extremely professional and courteous. The work that I requested Gene complete was performed per our agreed schedule, and met or exceeded my expectations. Since the initial work completed by Genes company, I have contracted with him to complete several other jobs at my vacation home. He has continued to deliver on time quality work at affordable prices. And his integrity is without question. So much so, that I recently gave Gene a key to access to my vacation home; so that he can change the furnace filters each month, maintain the outside appearance of my home, and secure it in the event of a storm. Needless to say - I highly recommend Stebbins Home Remodeling and Repairs!
