I had two cracks in the frame of an old Dodge truck.  I called probably 20+ places in Charlotte and surrounding areas and no one would work on it saying it would be a liability issue.  There were around 8 shops that said they could do it and requested a photo so I sent the photos out and only Corbetts sent a reply saying they would do it.  They did a fantastic job and only had to pay 200 dollars to have it repaired.  The welding they do looked top notch.  Been driving the truck and everything is holding up well.  Would recommend them.

Stay away! Horrific experience! We started a restoration project in August 2016 and I was told that the project would be complete in Spring 2017. Two years later, we spent more than three times the discussed budget only to find out that the project was far from complete, poorly fabricated, unsafe, and useless. Due to Corbetts Auto Restoration / Fabbit Customs negligence, inexperience, and ineptness we had to start the project from the beginning with a reliable shop. We are currently seeking punitive damages.

They built me a custom vehicle the likes of which they had never done before. St all times were they courteous and did superior work. They have great style in terms of their vision and make the customer a part of their team. They do things the way you would do them yourself or want them done. I'm so happy with the Wrangler Pickup they built me. I've won a car show with it, drive it every day and it is a well built, engineered, good looking vehicle. I highly recommend them.

After making a 2 hour trek from Greensboro to Shelby, we thought that we had found the perfect shop to complete the sheet metal on our project car. Having discussed the details and paid a $500 deposit, we had the car delivered to their shop. The work was promised within 6 months, and we were excited about getting the work done so that we could send it to the paint shop. Six months came and went but we saw no photos or verification of work done. We then received another invoice, this one for $2000. We requested photos. Three were received, and we were shocked to see that the car had been disassembled, both rear quarter panels had been cut off, and the entire (perfectly good) roof had been cut off! Within a couple days we showed up at Corbetts shop to see the car for the first time in 7 months. At that point we had spent $5000 in labor, and another $950 for a quarter panel. Less than 10% of the work had been done. Simple math told us that this shop would be charging us $50-75,000 for labor alone, and thousands more for fabrication. We asked that the shop cease work. A week later, on February 15, 2022 we loaded the car onto a trailer, full of fenders, quarter panels, bumpers, doors, etc. Before we finished loading, I was presented with another bill for $1500. Although I did not authorize the roof being cut off, I was charged for it. The final invoice included another $500 for welding it back onapparently a big moneymaker for this shop. (Making money to cut it off, and more money to put it back on...for no reason). I asked what the extra $1000 was for. When it was pointed out to me, the work was negligibleit resembled a 2 hour job @ 75.00 an hour. I thought my $10,000 would buy a lot of welding and fabrication. It did not. $7000 was spent at their shop. For that I lost 7 months of time as well as having to put a car back in my garage that was disassembled, cut up, with virtually no work actually being done. Michael obviously pegged me as someone he could continue to extract money from, and finding tidbit reasons to charge me. The hours billed in no way parallel the amount of work actually done. If that is not the case, their crew is the slowest on Planet Earth. This shop has no conscience, with the objective of doing the least possible and charging the most a customer is willing to tolerate. The bad news: a loss of 7k cash, a cut up disassembled car, and virtually no work done. The good news: lesson learned.
