As growing up as a child we rode our bikes to the pharmacy to get ice cream and shorts for best hotdogs and burgers . I said at that young age I wanted to raise my childbb v in such a tight notch community but now you ride in Selma its depressing and you want eso many homeless people in the woods off I95 and Hwy 70 its s as f bc these people have credibility to work that they can get a house and this lady has kids she been applying but her appearance is getting her denied she said her check couldnt pay the rent when she also ha utility duke and progress gave you extension and the town is having all the things being built but nothing for kids and just burger and fries and Chicken put nice restaurants for adults it saddened me my great house was taking so they can make the town look like white oak which is too high and thats why the houses looked ran down it looks a mess Im Looking to move myself and its said and all this fell on this new mayor and he is trying Ive seen him more than the other mayors! The town of Selma is not the same even the sports program I would hop to see other things built while yall are taking our country settings the kids cant enjoy there outside things bc of all these close new homes your building so close together there want be a town of Selma soon bc these utilities are outrageous and there are numerous complaints made to Raleigh its so sad!

$69 for sewer plus and extra $5.... That's ridiculous!!! They don't give disconnection notices. And my first month I never received a bill... My lights just got cut off. AND frankly after paying an $850 deposit just to get them turned on that you don't get back until you moved IF you ever move is absurd... This town is shady..... UPDATE (1 year later)... They recently changed their trash collection process so now we only have one trash can and no recycling... And they have added several new rules / regulations that if not adhered to precisely they will fine you. I love everything about Selma except the utilities department. Extremely frustrating because I'm looking to purchase a home within the next 2 years and I would love to stay in the downtown Selma area but my frustration with the utilities department is the one thing that's holding up my decision on what part of Selma to live in.

The business is supposed to be open from 8am to 5pm but it is locked up tight at 4:30. I left work early for nothing. No signs posted on door other than laughable business hours.
