        I was pretty disgusted with the low quality of Subway in general and the tuna scandal was the last straw, until they introduced the new menu as damage control.  I finally got around to trying it yesterday.  I had the new Cali steak sandwich.  Yeah, a big big increase in price, but a monumental increase in quality.  Every bite was absolutely delicious, and it held me all day so it wasn't just Subway's usual filler masquerading as meat, cheese or tuna.  I'm definitely willing to pay the extra $2 for a sandwich that is of excellent quality meat, tastes great and fills you up.  I'm disappointed that they removed their steak and egg sandwich from the menu, as it was my usual everyday goto and very reasonably priced.  Oh well.  The Cali steak will be my new goto.About this particular branch of Subway, I've always been greeted welcomingly, and the employees have been happy to serve me without any sign of resentment about their job in their attitude.  That is refreshing these days.  I also happened to be there one day when the manager was there giving them a stern lecture about cleanliness and procedure, which reassured me greatly to see.
