I was told to let him take care of it (son lawyer) so I did everything I could to move on with my life until court came. The officer tried to claim that I mixed the letters G and Q when repeating the alphabet which, if I was writing it and drunk.. maybe that would make sense, but it doesnt make sense that Id mix those letters speaking them.. G & B..? Sure. G & C,V.. anything else that rhymes? Sure! Also, he didnt speak for the fact that Im legally blind and need my glasses to see when the officer asked me if I need them, I said yes, and had me take them off anyway for the eye test. More than that, the judge asked Chip to speak to why I jumped a curb, a curb that I repeatedly told him Chip didnt exist, and he told the judge he couldnt excuse that on my behalf (literally said I cant) and when I tried to speak for myself because the 3k spent on him bought me nothing but a wasted year of my life, he asked me to quite down. I was scared so I did. Had he asked me, I would have taken photo evidence that the curb didnt exist but he told me he had it taken care of and I believed him. He did nothing to help me but happily took money that I didnt have to spend on this bs. I told myself had I ever been in a position where I was in court again after a case as a teenager, Id get the lawyer because Ive been through something similar with a court appointed attorney. He is a waste of money, assumably for those who dont already know him. (Im not from the area but had a local friend who recommended him whom Chip actually helped).
