ATM (Country Cupboard BP)

The Country Cupboard is NOT the place for minorities to see fair treatment either through employment or service. There are locations and places in life that remind you of what it must have been like for black folks when they had no right to defend themselves against personal slander, defamation, and agregious allegations whether they be among employees or leveled at customers by employees. I, personally am banned from this store. Why? I believe it was due to lies from an employee. Did I steal anything? Did anyone ask me anything? Did I threaten somebody?Did anybody watch a tape? Nope. Impossible. None of that happened. But I remember watching a white customer and employee launch a plan to get a black employee fired. They discussed it publicly, the boss took statements, the employee and the customer were found to have purposefully harassed her in person and on social media, but no police served a ban order to either one of them. As a matter of fact, they were only banned when the black lady was at work. That's not a ban. That's white folk trying De-escalation when one or two of them are at fault. It's nothing to go to the Country Cupboard and hear talk of black this, black that, and other offensive statements. It's a throwback to a different generation... it sucks. This is the sickening part... at the end of the day I'm a black guy who LEGALLY carries a firearm...just like 1 out of every 6 white customers who go there. Funny how that wasn't a problem when I helped them by fronting the products, or stocking empty coolers, or moving rocking chairs, or providing security to employees late at night in the parking lot. BUT it's really a bad thing when it is conveniently a bad thing. And then they have the Salisbury Police Department behave as co-conspirators in the discrimination. Stores like the Country Cupboard only survive because consumers purchase goods on the inside. Get gas if you need it, but we need to put places like that and people like the management out of business and out of work. This is not the last time I'll be telling this story...

First of all They are very Very Racist. They watch you as soon as you hit the door all the way until you get in your car in the parking lot. Rude attitudes and it's very dusty and nasty inside. Please go the Kangaroo next door or Just get gas but don't give the store itself any business.
