I do not recommend this Thales academy. The staff is horrible.

I have enjoyed the opportunity to occasionally serve as a substitute in the classrooms at the Rolesville campus of Thales Academy for the 20-21 school year-one that presented unique challenges and stretched both, students and school staff. Thales provides all of its high achieving students with the possibility of academic rigor through high expectations. Teachers are organized and highly communicative as well as knowledgeable and passionate about the subject matter they teach. Teachers worked diligently this year to teach in person and virtually while overcoming obstacles the pandemic presented. Students at Thales maintain a strong work ethic and become critical thinkers while also maintaining individual personalities and interests. Classroom management at Thales is far superior to that of most middle and high school classrooms and disruptions are minimal resulting in a productive class and the ability for effective teaching and learning. Students at Thales demonstrate college readiness at a level that surpasses the average high school student. I've been so happy to hear students talk about their post high school plans and the success they've experienced while at Thales. For those looking for a consistent, classical approach to learning for their child, Thales may be a great option.

This school is fantastic. All their campuses are. Teachers are amazing, and always seem happy to be at work. The education far exceeds my expectations. The extra curricular activities are thorough, (though I wish they had football and middle school cheer). I have always felt like the administrators knew who I was, which is a big plus in my book. All of this, based on a normal day..... Now let me tell you about how they handled Covid-19.... This school installed new HVAC ventilation systems to keep healthy air in and unhealthy air out (courtesy of Captive Aire and AirMakers), they implemented temperature screening, healthy screening, block schedules, and internal traffic patterns and social distancing. My daughter went to school 5 days a week from July 2020 to today (May 2021) and they have had barely any cases, and quite honestly I have never felt nervous or second guessed my decision for her to remain on campus through a pandemic. Simply, they are amazing.
