Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Rocky Mount

Walked in at 8 pm to a wet shower with hair in it. Could hear a baby crying all night. The tv kept restarting and shutting off all evening and morining, also when you turn in tje TV it turns on both at a high volume..pure annoying. Eventually, the internet on the tv stopped working, and so the only thing that worked was the Marriott channel. Only 1 elevator made things really slow. Ice machines are broken and leaking. There are no pillow and blankets for the fold out bed. The room key stopped working 2 hours before checkout. This will be the last time I choose this location.

Very upset, I asked at the front desk for a room with a shower and no tub, and even though they changed my room twice, they were not able to fulfill it. Also the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days, dust even in the bathroom and some ants.

This was such a nice, clean, comfortable stay. Great location from I-95 and easy to find. No funky smells, the pillow selection was great for each bed, and the beds were so comfortable. Plenty quiet, air conditioning ran quietly and steadily so we werent hot/cold/hot/cold all night. Good selection at breakfast and very friendly, welcoming staff. Ladies, be sure to wear a sweater in the breakfast room. It is freezing in there! When we left the next morning, the parking lot was completely full, so I think others agree what a great stay it is.

The hotel is in a good location, tucked off the main road. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. The breakfast looked decent, and they did have it ready a few minutes before promised; we had to leave too early both mornings to enjoy it. The shower curtain was torn in multiple places, and the doors rattled down the hallway any time someone closed a door. One of the elevator cars was broken during our stay; sounds like a recurring problem.
