Update: By company request, I had to take a room there. I couldn't stay based on what was living inside the room (see pics). ************************************ One of the better hotels in that part of the world--can't say much for the town. Don't stay too long.... Rooms: Yuck! The first one given to me smelled of pee, and dusty. I had to leave and then to go to sleep elsewhere (since no other rooms were available). Requested the room to be cleaned and returned the next day to a relatively dusted room but "poop smell" and "critter visitors".

If you like a noisy place than this is the place for you. People running back & forth on the upper balcony access to rooms.... Playing loud music and smoking???!!!$& whatever stuff. This diamond choice member will not be back here. Rooms: Recently new floors, access doors warped and had large gaps at the bottom frame, probably from being kicked in. Nearby activities: None Worth mentioning, no decent sit down restaurants, but two or three of the same brand fast food places in a square mile area. Safety: It just felt uncomfortable. Walkability: I wouldn't, traffic is just to dangerous Noteworthy details: Unless s specific reason to be in Rockingham not a bucket list destination. Witnessed heated altercations at one local fuel stop.

Stayed over-the weekend. Supper bad experience with this place. If you looking for safe and quiet place, definitely not that hotel!!! Stay away!!!! And keep the distance!!! All night long there was a ridiculous night party, tons of weird loud drunk people on whole second level. Drinking and smoking all together. Called front desk staff and they said its not their responsibility and they will do nothing. Sounds like they were part of it, rude and disrespectful and probably drunk. Never come back and do not recommend it. STAY AWAY!!!!

I come to Rockingham once a week and usually stay at a hotel with my husband. For the price, this is a decent hotel. It is just as clean and updated as the Hilton down the street. For the price, you cant really go wrong. Management is very nice and even let us check in 30 mins earlier than we were told. Ive never had any issues checking in. Room has a mini fridge, microwave and decently sized tv. Shampoo is already in the shower. We will keep coming back for sure!

I will never stay here again. There policy since Covid is that you have to request your room to be cleaned. This is fine and dandy if they would actually do it when requested. Ive politely asked them three separate days to clean it and still nothing. They constantly say theyll put a note for but nothing ever happens. And the general manager doesnt know how to run a business to save her life. I shouldnt have to beg to get fresh towels and the trash taken out.
