I would give this clinic 0 stars if I could. I saw Jacobs NP the first time I visited and she was fine, but every time my labs came back positive for a bacteria I was not notified by their office and only knew that something was wrong because my pharmacy kept filling antibiotics. I then had to wait several weeks to get seen a second time while in excruciating pain and was seen by Dr. Kaspar. He waltzed into my room over an hour late when I had driven from Garner during the work day to see him. No apology about the wait and he didn't give me a chance to speak. He told me what was wrong with me without hearing my story or reviewing my medical records after I had been living with a UTI for 8 weeks. He treated me like a drug seeking patient when all I was looking for was an explanation of why I kept getting a UTI. He told me basic techniques to prevent UTIs which I had been doing for those past two months and was condescending and rude. I don't understand how his ratings are so high. Probably the worst doctor I have ever seen in my life. After my visit with him where he told me that I didn't have a UTI anymore, the urine culture from that exact visit came back positive for a different type of bacteria and again an ABx was sent in with no notification on their part. The urologist I saw at WakeMed after this completely disagreed with his treatment plan and actually helped me. It's deeply disappointing that this is one of the only urology offices in Raleigh.

All of the staff are friendly and helpful. Dr. Jalkut is obviously trauma informed and was very understanding of patients who have fears and anxieties about medical interventions. I felt like he investigated my condition thoroughly and communicated with me every step of the way. Moving forward I know that my care is in good hands.
