Theyre always short staffed which really affects the patient care there as it shouldnt. The medical assistants think theyre doctors and the lab is never open? I dont get this place!!

Dr. Neelagiri and staff are the absolute best, first yes I'm bias because UNC to me is the best healthcare system I've ever dealt with I can honestly say I've not had a bad experience. But Dr. N and his nurses and assistance are the absolute best he is a hands on doctor he f/u on his patients religiously and that's what being a good doctor is all about. He is the model these other doctors need to follow. I hope UNC sees this and acknowledges the excellent staff they have in this office. Go Tarheels!!!!!

Even though this office is part off he UNC system they would not draw blood for a test my Doctor (also part of the UNC system) ordered. I was hoping there would be some convenience for patients of the UNC system but apparently its still run like a private entity. They were nice. Just dont expect the synergy of the UNC system.

I switched from Duke to UNC and I had Khaddijatou Sanyang, PA, I needed a refill on my anxiety medications and a yearly physical. She stated she wanted to run labs and have a thorough physical, and even mentioned how there were some things she wanted to do but because of billing she wouldn't do them that appointment so my whole appointment would be covered. I just received a bill for A THOUSAND DOLLARS in the mail for all the labs she ran that I did NOT ask for including a drug screen thats 140 dollars, because I am on anxiety medication, which made me feel as though she thought I was a user due to my anxiety. Do not go here to not see this provider. I will be fighting this bill.

This was honestly the worst experience I have ever had during a doctors visit. I came in today, because my doctor referred me for abnormal results with blood work, indicating my thyroid was hyperactive... first of all, when the nurse was asking about my medical history, I disclosed I had an eating disorder as I felt that may be pertinant. She asked what I had been diagnosed with, and I told her that though I had not been formally diagnosed yet, I go from 3-5 days without eating. Her questions following made me feel as though she thought of me as a high school girl, claiming to have an eating disorder for attention... when the doctor came in, she asked if I was suffering from any symptoms indicating I had a hyperactive thyroid; I was very anxious from my encounter with the nurse and started stumbling over my words, and the doctor interrupted me to ask IF I WAS ON METHANPHETAMINES. I told her I was not, and that I just have high anxiety, and she told me that I needed to go on something for anxiety... ok not really her specialty but ok... that ended up being THE ONLY medical advise she gave me during the entire appointment. Drove thirty minutes to be bullied. Edit: the name of the doctor that saw my was dr.dhir
