I ran into an issue with checking in. I felt like the manager was not helpful and repeated the same answer while I was trying to find a viable solution to the issue. I find when managers stonewall and continue to repeat the same answer over and over again instead of having a conversation to be frustrating, demeaning and robotic. I think this is also indicative for future guests if and when issues arise to be met with the same discourse. Managers should have a higher level of problem solving skills and ability to make guests feel understood and confident about finding a solution that fits their needs. We also ran into an issue on the rooftop. We saw in the elevator about cocktails and food being discounted. When we arrived, we mentioned to the cocktail server we wanted to know what the specific specials they had advertised. She wasnt sure and went to check with the bartender. She came back and gave us the cocktails that were discounted. But said the food specials mentioned in their advertisement in their elevator was not available anymore. Then after we had ordered the cocktails she came back and told us that there actually arent any specials anymore as that stopped last week. The lack of knowledge and misinformation we received left a bad taste. There was no service recovery attempted making us feel frustrated again. I love visiting hotels, and this one is clean and well kept up. I found the front desk associates to be friendly and helpful. The location is perfect and the rooftop is small but pretty on a nice day.

Overall I had a good experience here. The staff were nice, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was physically close to where I needed to be. The only complaint I have relative to the experience is the noise from outside of the hotel. I stayed here out of chance on the night of St. Patricks day and from 4pm through 8:30pm (when I went to bed) there was almost constant noise from cars and motorcycles which were raving their engines on the street outside of the hotel. I was on the 3rd floor, so fairly close to the action, but the amount of noise was ridiculous. I understand the hotel has no control over what people do outside, so I didnt take any stars off due to that, but they need to consider this with their next remodel since soundproofing their rooms more is an option they have. I travel with earplugs so I just put them in and didnt have any issues, but even if I didnt, the room had a pair of earplugs for use, so clearly the hotel recognizes this is common.

The most luxurious, modern, and clean hotel I have stayed in EVER. The bed was comfortable, there were modern amenities, a bathroom with a waterfall shower, it was quiet, and the hotel had amazing customer service. The rooftop bar on top was an added bonus as well as the ample parking spaces.
