I booked the Elevated Curly Cut during Angel's spring tour in Toronto and i am in awe of the results!! I've been following Angel on Instagram for 2+ years and I was so excited to get an opportunity to sit in her chair. I felt confident in my wash and go skills but the tips and knowledge she blessed me with will allow me to "elevate" my styling to another level. My fabulous Cut and popping color have been garnering compliments left and right and my curls have never looked so juicy!!!! My day 5 hair looks just like day 1! So ladies, lets be honest when someone asks you the question such as Do you want to be confined to wigs for the rest of your life?. Firstly: you clutch your pearls, feel some type of way, and then reevaluate what you want most versus what you want now. What I wanted most was to have a head of hair that I felt confident about rocking in the professional setting. What I wanted now is look that was easy to maintain while looking great. I had a lot of health factors and medication stacked against me. Partnering with a knowledgeable stylist such as Angel was a first for me. Angel was honest enough with me to tell me the truth about my current practices. That truth helped to close the gap of where I was to stepping closer to my goals.She challenged me to asks more from the dermatologist I was working with and gave me tools and knowledge beyond the YouTube University offerings. Although, my journey to a healthy crown has been slow, annoying, and challenging it has certainly been worth it. I visited Angel while she was on tour in Chicago for an Elevated Curly Cut and One Dimensional Color and it was worth every penny!!! I had an amazing time with Angel. She is full of humor and she's very kind :) She curated a product list for me and helped me understand where to buy, how to use, and the purpose of the products on the list. During the coloring process, she made sure that the color was as close to my reference as possible! She also made sure that I was happy with the tone of the color. It turned out amazing! The copper color is sooo beautiful! When it was time for my cut, she helped me to determine what the best shape would be for me since I have some growing to do in certain areas of my hair. During the cut, she made sure that I approved any changes and was comfortable with the cut. I am so grateful for all of her help and I cannot wait until she returns to Chicago.
