Wake County Shrine Club

It is with a profound sense of disappointment and frustration that I feel compelled to share our recent experience with the Wake County Shrine Club, particularly considering the emotional toll it took on what should have been one of the happiest days of our livesour wedding day. Our deep dissatisfaction with the Wake County Shrine Club stems not only from the unfortunate circumstances we faced but also from the cold and callous behavior we encountered throughout. Despite investing a significant sum of $5k for us to rent their venue, our special day was marred by the distressing presence of mice scurrying about the premises. It is difficult to express the sheer embarrassment and discomfort of having to contend with such a situation during what should have been a joyous celebration. What adds insult to injury is the lack of empathy and accountability displayed by the venue staff, particularly their club secretary, Scott. His dismissive attitude and refusal to address our concerns only served to exacerbate our distress. We are left to wonder, how would you feel if you were in our shoes? What would you have done in such a situation? Despite bringing the issue to the attention of the Shriner on duty multiple times, no meaningful action was taken to rectify the situation. Instead, it was left to our guests to deal with the rodents, leaving us feeling utterly embarrassed and let down by the lack of professionalism displayed by the venue. Furthermore, the lack of communication and follow-up from the venue post-event only serves to underscore their disregard for customer satisfaction and well-being. Attempting to shift blame onto us by insinuating that we somehow introduced the mice ourselves is not only unfounded but also reflects poorly on their commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for their customers. The memory of our wedding day will forever be tainted by the unwelcome presence of uninvited guests, and it is with a heavy heart that we urge others to exercise caution when considering the Wake County Shrine Club as a venue. Spare yourselves the disappointment and seek out a venue that prioritizes professionalism, empathy, and accountability.

We had our company Christmas party there. It was enough space for every one to sit. The food was good. There was enough parking. It's a great place for special occasions.
