Hays - Recruitment Agency Raleigh

At first I thought this company was great and promising. Then everything changed. I worked at Metlife and it took 2 weeks to get paid and it's weekly pay. I got vovid and was sick for almost 3 weeks and I called metlife and emailed hays letting them know I had covid. I even sent them the test results. While I was recovering, I got a voice-mail and email telling I was terminated because of budget cuts and to send back their equipment before they got the legal team involved. But here's the kicker, everyone in my training class that hasn't quit are still working. I don't ever want to be part of a company that kicks you when you are down and out. God blessed with with a permanent job with great benefits.

I have been on assignment with this company for 3 weeks and have not received my 1st paycheck. I have been calling every number that I have for them (including the one listed above), emailing and leaving voicemail messages and I have not heard back from anyone as of this post date. This experience is very disheartening and is making my current assignment very difficult to continue. No one has taken a moment to reach out to me to at least let me know that theyve gotten my messages or that theyre working on the issue. This is a bad way to do business! The goal is to work and be paid for the work that is performed. There are people out here that actually want to work, and pride themselves in providing quality work, but what do you do when the line of communication is not open between an employer and employee? Had Id known that this is the type of issues I would run into, I would have looked for employment elsewhere. Quite a few of us are still being impacted by this pandemic and working for free is not what I signed up for.

Very bad experience ever with hays recruitement.They should hire good quality employee, Mallory is highly one of them,extremely rude.while i was interviewing for some of clients through them and in between i got offer through 2 clients with different recruiter from hays.but at that time I havent realized why Mellory forcing me to join only contract position she said we are going to stop your interview just because we have offer for you(which is only contract) and other one was full time but she is so stupid and was talking me very bad to accept that contract offer! I was accepted just because i have to hurry to join Asap my job.just after that i was keep calling but she didnt reply me back and just after 1 month she came back to me and said ohh today is your last day and was talking me so rude same.she didnt even aware me to week before that your contact is going ti end.never trust this company ever.

I have gone through a few different agencies in my day and Hays stands head and shoulders above them all. Great professionalism, transparency, and great benefits in comparison to competition. Great focus on compensation for their contractors that is again outclassing competitors.
