I simply can't write enough great things about this agency. They truly are matchmakers, and each of their staff handles every case with the utmost professionalism and care. We couldn't be more grateful to be clients! Their approach is relationship-based, and any time I call them they're extremely responsive. Their placement director, Courtney, is so accommodating and thorough. I highly recommend working with her if she's available!

We did not have a great experience with this agency. We were looking for part time (20-25 hours a week) care and help around the house and hired this agency expecting we would access a network of experienced, reliable professionals. Instead, they found us two individuals who were not experienced or reliable. The first was very nice but also fresh out of college, and she ended up leaving within three months to move back to her family in the Midwest. It then took almost three months for them to find a replacement, during which time we had only spotty backup care provided by the agency, despite the promise in the contract. The replacement they found had never provided childcare before. Again, she was very nice, but she had no appreciation of what it takes to provide care for three children, and help around the house, and it just wasnt what she wanted to do. After four months with her we mutually parted ways. We became so frustrated with the process that we gave up and stopped looking. For $8000, we got a lot of headaches and very little support. We have friends who have had a good experience with this agency. It may be the difference is that our friends needed care full time. Our senses that they have a deeper bench of full-time Nanny and Home caretakers. If youre like us and need part time (20-25 hours a week) support Id strongly recommend you do your diligence. When we were considering using them (ie before we paid the fee) they assured us they had a lot of options available. But as we searched and searched and searched, that tune changed and we heard our pool for part time support is limited and its less reliable because its not a full time job.

We found the best nanny/addition to our family through MGF! For us, the vetting process they go through before we interviewed a candidate was absolutely worth the investment in hiring them. Also, the year long guarantee you receive in finding the right fit if the first placement doesnt work out also was critical for us. We didnt find the right fit until our second hire and we have now learned in the 3 years of experience we have with welcoming a nanny into our home - its a process and can take time : ) Thankfully during the process, MGF has a pool of floater Nannies that can help temporarily and/or at short notice. We recently used this service and were incredibly impressed at how quickly they were able to find us help. Their team members are gold and truly care about the families they are helping!

The team at My Girl Friday has been exceptional! Our experience with MGF outshines every other path we took trying to find a nanny (and we tried quite a few). From the initial discovery call, through interviewing, to helping us with floater coverage, and even after our (perfect) placement, the team has been supportive, very professional, and fun. They were able to meet our unique needs without hesitation. We've recommended them to others and will continue to do so!
