April is a professional, caring, and skilled counselor. I have seen her off and on for more than 10 years and have been so helped and encouraged! I especially appreciate her prayers for me at the end of each session.

Horrible experience with April Millers office. I guess if you are working parents with a young toddler child you shouldnt schedule to meet here unless you 100% will never have to be out unexpectedly. If your child is sick with a stomach virus or you arent able to schedule off work, you will be charged a $70 fee for missing the appointment. Would hate for a toddler whos in preschool to get sick during the sick season I guess I should have brought my sick child into the appointment. Even if you call to try and cancel 48 hours prior to your appointment , they advise you not to cancel and then when you have to they charge you. I tried calling when I received my confirmation text to cancel. I was just charged $70 for no reason, 10 days prior to trying to provide a Christmas for my 1 year old as If money is not hard enough in todays time. You never know what people are going through with life and mental health and to seek counseling and then be charged for missing the appointment is extremely disappointing.

Kathleen Hamby has provided me with exceptional service for about 7 years now. She is consistently able to give me wise feedback. When I first started seeing her, we discussed what I was and was not willing to talk about, and she has respected that completely. While having sessions with Kathleen, I have been able to break down barriers in my own mind, Ive learned how to combat my own untrue thoughts, and learned how to replace the negative thinking with positive affirmations. I could not be more pleased with the services I have received here at Lifecare Counseling.

They will fine you hundreds for easily made mistakes, like a missed appointment the website never said had to be in person, or when they themselves are late. Predatory therapy companies like this that don't even hire accredited therapists need to be abolished and restricted. Preying on the mentally unwell and making them even poorer.
