        STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! I don't usually give bad reviews and wanted to support businesses. But this place is worse. I made a 9.20am appointment for Full Service Haircut, Hot Lather and Neck Shave. Reached the Strip Mall where it is located at 9.17am. Since I'm not local, it took me some time to find this place. Parking was hard to find. I was about 6 minutes late when I went inside. The lady told me that since I was late, she won't do shampooing. I said OK. then she took 10 minutes to cut my hair. No neck shaving,just a little trim on back of neck. I asked her if she could just do a little beard lining. She said I needed to make another appointment for that. What a joke! It would have taken her just another 2-3 minutes. Then she ended up charging me the full price, even though no full service was provided, just because I was 6 minutes late. Not a good service. Response to the owner reply: I usually don't chime in on posts, but since you labeled my response as a "rant," I gotta speak up. Yeah, I admit I rolled in late for my appointment. But like I said before, I'm not from around here, so finding the salon and parking was a bit of a hassle. Big shoutout for still cutting my hair even though I was late, but I gotta ask, why did I get slapped with the full bill for just a trim? I did opt for the neck shave when booking, but arguing with someone who brushes off everything seems pointless. Your post talks about being on time and respecting others' schedules, which I get. But, your policy on latecomers and the charges that come with it wasn't spelled out to me beforehand. Plus, I had no clue the neck shave was not part of the whole package. I'll own up to being late, no doubt about it. But a heads-up on what happens if you're late and what you'll be charged would've been nice. Feels like I'm getting all the flak here, even though I still went ahead with the appointment after being late.

      RESPECT OTHERS AND SEEK TO BE ON TIME FOR YOUR APPOINTMENTS!!We are very clear to customers in our communications to arrive on time or early as we have a late policy. This is stated online and in email confirmations and text confirmations. We had to define some time to determine how long to wait for late customers. If you were another customer in the lobby waiting, would it seem right to you to have a stylist just standing around waiting for a late customer? Before our late policy, we had those complaints as well. Ultimately, if every customer is just 5 minutes late, that can cause the stylists to be late for their next appointment. It can start a domino effect. The 5 minute grace cut off is to try and minimize that. We don't operate on a 1 hour to 1.5 hour cycle like a restaurant with a 15 minute grace period that can be made up. Our cycle times can be from 20 to 30 minutes.Customers who are after 5 minutes grace time late and before 10 minutes late, as you did, we give the option of skipping the full service and doing a cut only or rescheduling BECAUSE YOU WERE LATE. Beyond that, why should our staff make less and we charge less because you were late??? You had a choice: continue with skipping the full service and do a cut only which you did or rescheduling or cancelling.Note: A Neck Shave is additional service as is clearly listed as such on our website and in the lobby and in station signs. It is not included in our full service which includes a Shampoo/Condition, Hot Towel, Eye Brow and Stache Trim and Shoulder Massage. Regarding adding extra services - beard lining. If another customer is coming after you, we cannot add extra services if you did not book them. We allow 10 minutes for Beard Line Ups. It is precise process performed by professionals. This review seems to me to be rant by a customer who didn’t allow adequate time to visit a new shopping center to get a haircut at a new salon, but for some odd reason that is entirely our fault???
