Let me preface this review by saying that I moved into the Dartmouth originally in 2018-19, bought a house, sold it and moved back to the Dartmouth in 2022, since I loved it so much. The positives: -The community in the building is incredible. I have never lived somewhere that so many neighbors know each other and are so friendly. Especially in the summer, it feels like there is a pool party every weekend with 30 of your closest friends. -The 24hour community center is great and a comfortable extension of your home. -Maintenance is very friendly, prompt and helpful. The negatives: -Management is absolutely atrocious. As I write this review, I have left three voicemails, sent emails and have been trying to call since last Friday with no answer at all. -The dog poop issue in this community is absolutely outrageous. More often than not, you have to look down with every step so that you dont step in poop. In the summer, it smells like hot urine outside. -The parking garage exit arm has been broken since July of 2023. There has been no communication about this and when it will be fixed, short of an email on August 17th ( after I complained asking for an update) and late last week (after my wife left a negative review.) It is extremely dangerous, as people have been entering the exit often. The original reason I called to get in touch with management was because someone nearly hit my dog and I while flying in the exit. Additionally, residents pay for private parking and we are not receiving that. People all over north hills are using our garage as public parking. -Elevators are constantly broken and VERY slow. It is a very common thing in this building for an elevator to break. On top of that, they stay disgusting. -The pet waste trash area is constantly overflowing. Attached is a photo from a week or so ago, and it stayed like that for three days. Take note when looking at apartments in North Hills that this is the cheapest apartment community. You absolutely will receive what you pay for. If you look, walk around the outside of the building and you will see how nasty it is. It makes sense that this is the cheapest complex, due to how useless the office and management are as well as how utterly disgusting it is. You absolutely will get terrible service and radio silence from the office if you have a problem besides a maintenance issue. What a waste of $1800 a month. I am counting down the days until my lease is up.

If I could give the Darthmouth Apartments negative stars, I would. From the moment we moved in I knew this place was not going to live up to its "Luxury" title and price. To start, this place is always a mess, from the dumpsters that block the main doors for residents to get into their apartments, to them overflowing into the parking garage. The elevators are small, slow and ALWAYS dirty. The carpets, although they claim they clean them, look as if they haven't been cleaned since they were placed. The complex is very loud from people running and yelling through the hallways at all hours to people screaming in the pool deck - and if you complain to management they tell you to call the police and take photos of them instead of handling it themselves. Besides all of that I wouldn't rent here simply due to the management, especially Melanie - she clearly hates her job and everyone that lives there, if for some reason you do decide to live here only work with Stacey, she's the only one who knows what's going on. Melanie is rude, to everyone, always. I also highly encourage you to double check every single document they give to you - they purposely did something opposite of what I requested on my lease and then blamed me - or rather Melanie. Melanie will also send out invoices with zero explanation of them, do the math wrong and then consistently make you check her work. She will try to upcharge you - WATCH OUT FOR IT. This place is NOT WORTH IT! Even if it was the cheapest place to live, it's still not worth it. There are so many better places to live in North Hills at a clean complex with friendly people running it who genuinely care about their tenants. Absolutely horrific experience with the Darthmouth. Even if you try to bring it up with the company who owns it, Fogelman, they laugh at bad reviews and DO NOT take them seriously. Go back and review all the bad reviews, nothing has changed, they do not care about any of their tenants, RUN AWAY from this place! OVERPRICED and you'll be treated like trash.

If you like dirty hall ways, cracked walls, a high humidity apartment, the smell of weed in the halls that leaks into your apartment due to gaps under the doors, and roaches then this is the place for you!
