        While the cost monthly keeps going up, the quality continues to go down. That being said, cable is better than satellite if you live under a lot of trees.

        I'm an employee with mediacom it's a great place to work. I've been an employee for over 2 years and do my best to provide great customer service to our customers.

      • Droopmaster Flex

        They need to develop a loyalty system to retain customers. They hook you with fast internet speed and a low rate for the first year typically around $30-50 a month but after that contract ends in the fine print it says they will increase the price year by year. So now four years in started with 29.99 deal now we pay close to $120 for internet. Occasionally we will receive mailabout the 39.99 for new customers but what about the old ones? Are we destined to just flip flop between internet services ever year or two? Sometimes I bring in the flyer and manage to get ten bucks knocked off for a month or so but come-on do we have to do this dance every time?
