This complex is a mixed bag. There are some good things here but it is offset by some bad things and some things that are just downright frustrating. The Good: The location is great and close to just about everything in Southwest Charlotte. The apartments are fairly quiet for the most part so you don't really hear your neighbors and traffic isn't bad outside of the usual rush hour window common across Charlotte. The Bad: As mentioned in other reviews, it is a matter of when not if the AC will fail in these units. In 9 years living here the AC has only made it 1 year without having some kind of issue and that was only due to the unit being completely replaced in the prior year. And The Frustrating: Management has been on a steady decline over the past 9 years. Over the last 2 years it has gotten to the point that getting a response to anything requires you to camp outside of their office and wait for someone to show up as emails and phone calls will never be answered. Last year it took almost a month of hounding to get the AC fully fixed after a close by lightning strike in the late summer. But they are good at pivoting to different payment portals at the 11th hour or tacking on 'amenity fees' with no real amenities to show for it or ability to opt out. And if you have any concerns...good luck

Thinking of renting here? Not worth it. Loved the setup and price of the units, so figured Id schedule a tour. Showed up on time, but couldnt find the leasing office. No directions in email, and no signs anywhere on grounds. Call the office twice, no answer. Ask the landscaping crew, directions contradict. Spent 20 minutes driving up and down and up and down this place, no leasing center. So thanks, but no thanks. If you cant treat me well as a potential renter, youll be even worse if I do. Guess the reviews of bad service are true. Look elsewhere.

Austin is the maintenance guy at this property I think....well thats what i assume, anyway this guy is seriously funny and friendly. Very detailed and I definitely would have went through the process if the property manager wasn't busy. Im be back this week me and my husband the property looks great and the location is perfect.

March 4th I came by CharlestonRow townhomes(which is absolutely beautiful) I rode around looking at the place. Its well kept and I was actually looking for trash around the place but didnt see a lick. I got out and walked around and its a lot of dog poop. But,while walking around I ran into the maintenance guy(Austin).hes a looker too I asked so many questions about the property I thought I was aggravating him. He answered ALL my questions and went into detail about the property which I appreciated so much. Ill definitely be considering moving here in April of this year.

We'll start with the positive: the townhomes appear nice and give the feeling of being in your own home. There are a few key problems. Among them is that there is a pervasive issue with the air conditioning that existed under the former management and continues with the new team. I have lived at CR for approximately three years and am in the second iteration of my AC unit breaking down during the summer. The first time was a two-week round robin of dumping coolant in the unit. It was an attempt to put a band-aid on the problem but it ultimately made it FAR worse. This time, management has disappeared for the weekend without resolving the issue or responding to the five maintenance calls I've placed although it is hotter in my house than outside. UPDATED: The second issue, as a prospective resident noted, is that it is impossible to get in touch with anyone. I'm not sure that there is even a maintenance person. Requests sit for months, regardless of the priority, urgency, or asks. Staff manages this by simply not answering the phone and deleting/removing requests that you must resubmit. It's pretty disheartening, especially for the rate that they're charging. Meanwhile, they're beautifying the leasing office. Most days, it's impossible to tell if someone is available or not. The sign indicates that the office is open, but knocks and doorbell rings go unanswered. Please think carefully, ask many questions, and check even the most minute details before signing on. Appearances can be deceiving.
