FYI THIS IS A GAS STATION AND NO LONGER A BBQ RESTAURANT. THEY DO SELL PIZZA. TURN AROUND AND GO TO LOS ARCOIRIS FOR GREAT MEXICAN FOOD 5/24/23

Don't let the name fool you. They don't sell bbq. The only thing on the menu was Hunt's Pizza which can be purchased at any other convenience store in NC. Pizza was fine, but they may want to consider a name change ;)

Almost $14.00 for one (1) bag of deer corn on the cob. I guess theres is special corn

This place somehow came highly recommended Needs, but I was severely disappointed. Needs a health inspector to come instruct employees on basic sanitation. Person taking orders immediately went from writing my order down with a pen to handling a biscuit by hand without gloves; was also handed a biscuit by hand with no gloves after they forgot to include it with the order. I should have walked out and I'm always sorry to leave a bad review but it was just atrocious. Food wasn't anything to brag about, and if I hadn't taken pepto I don't know what would have happened. Also the general atmosphere was crass and crude. Fine (I guess) for a construction lunch hour to-go but I'd recommend raising their standards a bit for the tourists and locals passing through.
