        Only stopped by for few drinks at their taproom,but loved it,great atmosphere, super nice staff, has plenty of,rooms,rv parking,cabins,and even a tiny house and tree house to stay in..also a short walking trail in the area..plenty of tables inside and outside..

        HVAC in room had a noisy fan otherwise a very enjoyable place to stay please a you can drink and worry about getting home

        The Pineola is a well-kept roadside motel perfectly located between Grandfather Mountain and Linville Falls just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. The motel has a bar/tavern, a large deck with games and several hammocks for guests. My only negative about the motel is that it has thin walls/floors so you can hear the guests above you and/or beside you. Another thing to keep in mind is that finding open restaurants and/or a coffee shop nearby can be a challenge. Nearby activities: The Pineola is located in the perfect location to enjoy hiking in and around the Linville Gorge Wilderness Area, Grandfather Mountain State Park, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

      Hi Mark, thank you for your great review. Thank you for all your great photos you posted too!!!You read our minds. We’re currently working on a list of local restaurants with their days/hours open. With staffing shortages at some of the restaurants, it might be a little challenging for us to keep it up to date — but there are so many wonderful restaurants and coffee shops nearby, we’ll try to help. Also, just ask when you check-in, and we’ll do our best to make some recommendations of our favorite places that we believe are open during your stay 😊.
