        The only thing this place is good for is loans. I will never open a banking account here again and I suggest none you do as well. Multiple hidden fees, non refundable NSF fees after FAULTY charges, not entire staff but most of the staff was very rude and uppity. Management was also rude. If you need a checking account just go with Chime or cash app.

        We are blessed to have SECU in our lives. Family surgery and hospital stay at UNC would have meant costly hotel bills and meals. Fortunately the SECU house near the hospital provided both. Excellent service very helpful with foreign currency exchange.

        Im very pleased with this bank. I started receiving my disability about 4 years ago and my brother talked me into this bank. Since Ive been here they have helped me finally after a bad divorce get my credit score from a 240 to now Im at a 602. They listen to my needs and help me so much. I wouldnt change banks at all. Thank you State Employee.
