Valley River Arts
Valley River Arts is a co-op of over 60 artists and crafters who own and operate The MAC, Murphy Art Center, on the Square in downtown Murphy, NC. Open every day! Stop in to visit our huge gallery of local arts and crafts including pottery, jewelry, stained glass, photography, paintings, quilts, fabric art, wood art, metal art, books, puzzles, mosaic glass art, fused glass, ornaments, scarves, hats, souvenirs, and so much more!!
Open 10am-5pm Monday - Saturday, 11am - 4:30pm Sundays, and open late on Friday evenings until 8pm.
Be sure to attend First Friday Art Walk, May through December, with live music on the Square, music inside The MAC, free refreshments and wine tastings, downtown shops open late, and dozens and dozens of craft vendors lining the sidewalks throughout downtown.
Take a class at The MAC! We have a variety of classes available for all ages, infants and children, up to teens and adults.
View the MAX Project, Murphy Art Xplosion, downtown art gallery, throughout downtown on the outside historic buildings! Large canvas art is mounted in frames for viewing and enjoying 24/7: in 13 downtown locations with over 60 art panels featured with seasonally changing displays.
Attend our spring SMArt Studio Tour! Open working arts and crafts studios are available to visit in a self-guided tour during the last two weekends of April. See our website for more info: www.ValleyRiverArts.com
