MAKE SURE YOU GET A RECEIPT FOR ALL DOCUMENTS TURNED INTO THIS FACILITY. Unprofessional, rude, uncalled for. Continued billing my mother for property SHE NO LONGER OWNED for two years, after two times of turning in documentation stating it had been sold. I hand delivered the first set of notarized bill of sale, sales receipt, copy of signed title, thinking that was safer than mailing it in. I guess it would be IF THEY HAD ACTUALLY FILED IT. Thinking everything was resolved because of documentation given, I went on my merry wayuntil she just received ANOTHER bill in the mail for 2023! I printed out the documentation AGAIN and mailed it in with the slip. They called me directly to confirm that the property was still located in Burke County and to get the buyers telephone number. Their address, etc was already on the documents. While on the phone I asked if the tax due was now null and void since proving the property was not owned by my mother in all of 2023. They state theres no documentation on file. I let them know that they called ME about the documents. I cant make this stuff up!! I told them I will pay the money, even though it is LUDICROUS that I should have to.

It's sad how burke county tag and taxes rips people off every year it gets higher for no reason and why do we pay taxes and have to get are cars inspected when the roads are not safe for are cars I guess if you don't have a suit and tie on your just screwed it's not all about money rich people because 1 day you'll have to meet the the Lord Jesus Christ and you will burn for making it so hard on the poor people I hope God for gives you!!!
