George and Caroline were great to work with throughout the whole process from sitting down and picking out floor plans and colors to the final product set up on our lot. Their construction foreman Keith was also very great to work with. All of them have the customers best interest at heart.

We had an excellent experience with Oakwood Morehead City. Caroline was excellent on the front end to advise and get the plan and trims selected. She was also patient as we requested walkthroughs of similar plans on multiple occasions as we waited for ours to be built. Closing with Corbitt was quick and efficient. The work at the site was expertly managed by Keith with great communication and responsiveness on questions. We absolutely would recommend and would select Oakwood again!

The Morehead City, NC Oakwood Homes team are AWESOME. From shopping for second home options to making the decision to go with a custom design and order, the building phase, delivery and installation every step went smoothly and was finished in 6 months Jan. - June. We met Caroline Conekin, Home Consultant during the 1st visit to Oakwood and were treated as valued customers. Her expert knowledge on home designs and patience with us in the process proved we made the right decision with Oakwood. From the custom design and order phase through build, delivery and installation it was a positive experience due to this team. During the build process there were 2 instances where supplies were not available, both times a better alternative solution was presented. One was a standard tub/shower for hall bathroom and a much nicer design of better quality and in stock was offered. The standard foundation brick was on back order and promptly another better solution was offered. We were able to select a better color/style match for our homes siding, this brick was delivered and laid timely. An asset at Morehead City Oakwood is Keith Cockrin, leader and supervision of installation process and SME (subject matter expert) on all things related to the home build, instal, town permitting, HVAC, appliances, etc. Keith is professional, easy to talk with and knows all! No one worked harder from sun up to dark committed to getting our home prepared for move in. Both Caroline and Keith were always accessible, available to talk, text, email or meet. Expert team! Highly recommend.
