First trip Julie was great, after that she just didn't get good prices and she only uses American Airline vacations.  Does not price match and takes forever to get back to you.  Sad because I was very pleased with my first trip.

This agency is useless.  All Julie does is go to a "website" and book your trip.  Do NOT even think of asking her for any assistance, all you get from her is "CALL the hotel".  And since she books the airline, you CAN NOT change the flights.  I emailed to ask her something and she said check the package I sent you!  I kid you not.  Seriously?  My package was at home (I was at work) and she could not take 2 minutes to look up something for me?  So basically it is better to go to these sites yourself and book it, it will be cheaper.  Exactly Julie, what do you do?

We planned a family vacation through around the world travel and our rep Julie Dunning was assigned to us. From the beginning, we had issues with the agency. If Julie was not there, which was most of the time, no one else could help us or answer our questions. We had 16 people planning a trip to the occidental Grand Xcaret in Rivera maya mexico. We were planning our trip from October 1st to the 8th. Julie D. has got to be the worst travel planner I have ever encountered. She boasted that each room would receive a 500.00 credit voucher from the hotel, that we never saw. She stated that they would give us a block of rooms on the first floor, we ended up all being in the same building but spread out over three floors and some of us had issues with stairs - thus the reason for requesting first floor and it seems all those who had issues were placed on upper levels.Julie D's responses to our questions and response time in general were poor. Even the whole office did not have a sense of urgency that one would expect from a travel agency. My wife called about 3 weeks before the trip with questions and Julie was not there. When asked if anyone else could help us, the answer from the agency was no and that what are we worried about, we still have three weeks. Not an acceptable answer. We ended up calling the resort and airline ourselves to clear up the questions, if I wanted to do that, I would not need an agency.As for pricing, like the paragraph above, if we would have shopped around we could have saved ourselves more than 20% on what the agency charged. We paid a premium because we wanted one stop shopping from an expert - neither of which did we get what we anticipated.Based on the planning portion of the vacation and the level of contact we were give, I would not recommend this agency to anyone. Do yourself a favor and book it yourself, you will be much happier.
