I highly recommend James as a broker as well as the Lake Team. James evaluated my home, made suggestions to improve the marketability after a thorough evaluation and made the selling process simple! My home unfortunately had been flooded previously by rain event causing stormwater overflow from "common area". He was extremely thorough in obtaining all information regarding the HOA, homeowners management, resolution information, engineering documents pertinent & making a packet for every Broker showing the property. His full disclosure was extremely professional and covered not only me, himself but also the buyer as well. As a former broker in charge in Blowing Rock, Boone & surrounding area - I appreciated his integrity, If I ever desire to purchase another home or sell another ~ I will definitely call upon James to do so.

James is exactly as described. A true professional. He has market savvy. He knows how to appropriately price a home and position a home. Hickorys economy isnt what it used to be, so selling a high end home requires aggressive marketing to people who are interested in a Lake home, with lower taxes than the NE, and a nice community. No easy task! His photographs as part of his virtual tour and advertising made me interested in buying my house and moving back! He arranged for several small repairs, met any inspectors and stayed engaged in the process as I was living five hours away. I believe had I not tried to sell my home myself or used a different agent the first time, my home would have sold more quickly, and at a higher price. Use James and I will tell you that you will not regret it. This isnt a place for personal information, but outside of work his contribution to children and the community is also pretty incredible which I had no idea due to him being humble. Great character!

James helped us purchase our retirement home. He is the Consummate Professional. Extremely knowledgeable of the real estate market & business in general, and of the local market. James was extremely responsive & available for our needs throughout the process and continues to be so even after closing. Being stationed out of town for most of the process, we cannot thank James enough for making things go smoothly. James was absolutely amazing. He is one of the most kindest people you will ever encounter. He never made me feel like I was just a check. He hung in there with me when I got my first No and my second No. He stayed the course until I got my yes. I am now a proud homeowner and I owe that to James and his team. Even after I closed on my house James still calls to make sure I am happy. I am forever grateful for James. I would recommend James a thousand times over. He is wonderful.

We went to look at a house that James had listed and ended up using him as our realtor for the sale of our home as well. James has been nothing short of amazing. He answers every call, text, email no matter what time it is. We couldnt have asked for a better realtor, and in fact he has simply become a part of our family. Our children refer to him as grandpa and even asked what would happen to him after the closings. He is simply the best!
