Building blocks preschool is the perfect school for learning and development before kindergarten. My twin daughters have grown so much in just the few short months they have spent there. Mrs. Dixon gives the students one on one attention and makes everything fun while keeping it challenging so that they learn and grow. My daughters get excited each morning to leave for school and jump out of the car as soon as they see Mrs. Dixon and Mrs. Cullen. They truly love it there!

We've had our son there for the last 2 years and only have great things to say. He still enjoys going there and even though he still has more then half a year left he is more then ready for Kindergarten. I was a little nervous when the school was in a church because we believe school is for school and we can handle the religious aspect ourselves. But they have a secular curriculum that does a fantastic job of teaching right/wrong and how to interact with others. The cost is very competitive and I plan on getting my little girl in there as soon as I can. I'm writing this review because I think the program is excellent and I want to help get as many kids as possible in there.

Best preschool in town! All around on a personal level on a social level, my daughter could not get better care anywhere else, I have never met a teacher as involved as Beth she teachers her so many skills socially and academically, her way of teaching is very exciting for the kids she is always happy and caring and loving.. in this type of childcare (specifically preschoolers) having the wrong person to teach your young one could reek havoc on their ability to learn.. I am so greatful to have my daughter here and thankful i didn't put her anywhere else!

I'm writing this review as a teacher, therefore I want you to further understand I am certified and registered to teach in NC. The school is too small. The classrooms are a mess. The ratios don't comply with state standards. The owner is completely shifty; indecisive and focused on a "bigger, better," investment. I truly question her geuine adoration for teaching. The children are sent to a restroom that is publically used by the church and the members and the children both male and female. I saw no sanitary procedures posted. The clutter is out of control and absolutely not the place a child could learn or should be learning. It's an overall disappointment and in order for the quality to improve, the owner has to want that. I would check with Chesterbrook Academy or Stepping Stones Academy of Mooresville. If you're in the market for eduction with uniforms, Primrose.

I am also writing this review as someone who is K-8 certified and who has taught in elementary schools in Michigan, Washington and North Carolina. Also from a parent who has been with the program for three years and has volunteered many times in the classroom and actually can show you a glimpse of what this program is really about: I could go on and on about how wonderful and amazing Building Blocks Preschool is! My son has gone there for two years and now my daughter has started and will attend for three years. First off, the teachers are marvelous! They are always smiling, happy and usually singing. Not only are they incredible at what they do, but are very passionate about doing it which in turn makes the children love it as well! My children love going to this school, each and every day. As a parent, this makes my life (and mornings) so much easier. I would highly recommend this school on just the teachers alone, but the program and curriculum are what really sets this program far apart from the rest. They do so many hands on and fun learning activities, none of which actually feel like work or school to the students. And the kindergarten readiness is astonishing! My son left the program not only knowing all his letters and letter sounds, but also being able to read at almost a first grade level. Now I know all students are different, but I strongly believe that this program gave my son the tools and confidence to be ready for kindergarten. If you are searching for a Preschool or Pre-Kindergarten program, search no more. I promise you, you will not be disappointed!!
