Audiology of Charlotte - Matthews

I was in desperate need to have my Unitron B9-312 hearing aid repaired. Our dog chewed off the speaker on my left hearing aid and I was sure that it would have to be sent back to the manufacturer for repair. I made an appointment with Dr Lauren and it was a pleasure to meet her. She was full of life, had a fantastic personality. She said let me take a look at that hearing aid. She went in the back room and in a few minutes came back out with my hearing aid repaired. I was truly amazed at her ability to repair my hearing aid and was elated that I didn't have to send it back to the manufacturer. I could not have asked for a more pleasant and professional audiologist. Since we moved from Michigan to Indian Trail, NC she will now be my new audiologist.

Dr. Lauren is great! She was patient and took her time explaining everything in detail to my understanding. Dr. Lauren answered all my questions and provided guidance on what options would be best for me. I truly enjoyed my interaction and visit with Dr. Laren and would recommend her to everyone!

This was the best visit with an audiologist that I have had since I moved to Matthews 40 years ago. Dr. Putira is exceptional and performed the most comprehensive ear exam that I have ever had. It was very easy to get an appointment and she spent a full hour with me. This is in contrast to Charlotte Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat where I have to sometimes wait two months to see an audiologist. What really turned me off with CEENT was that the audiologist asked me for my used battery to put back into the device when she examined my hearing aid. It might have cost them 10 cents to supply a simple battery! Dr. Putira always listens intently and she picked out about 5 things that CEENT never told me about. Her ear testing is much more thorough and she always takes plenty of time with her patients. It seemed like CEENT just wanted to get you in and get you out--the audiologist was always rushed with one foot out the door. If you desire a new audiology clinic that performs ear examinations the way that they should be performed, Dr. Putira is your person. Moreover, she did not push buying new hearing aids and was the first audiologist who has ever told me that I do not need to buy two hearing aids--I can purchase only one, if needed. I can easily assure you that you will not be disappointed with the many ear exam tests that Dr. Putira offers! D.V. Stallings, NC

Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I have had my hearing aids for 3 years and no one has ever showed me how to clean them properly. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend her.
