        I have been trying to find a good doctor since moving to Charlotte in 2016. It has been a task. Finally found the right office and team. The professionalism and courtesy shown is top tier. The phlebotomist is a godsend! I wish I could have her with me every time I need bloodwork. Definitely check them out. One of the most amazing doctors and teams I have come across.

        Very difficult to get medication doses adjusted or refilled. I don't feel listened to. Nobody answers the phone except on certain days to schedule appointments. Anything beyond that is a challenge in my experience. Despite multiple blood tests, in person appointments, and portal messages, my medication was never adjusted or refilled and I ran out. I called and spoke with the nurse. Whoever I spoke with today was so rude, wouldn't let me speak, and basically said I had to schedule another appointment to discuss in person what I had already discussed or fill out another portal request. What's the point of going in person again when I wasn't listened to the last time? So I filled out the portal again. Currently just out of my medicine now. I want to find another doctor. I don't feel heard or cared about here.

Starting with a new healthcare provider can be scary, but she and the entire Matthews Internal Medicine staff immediately put me at ease and provided high-quality care. They asked in-depth questions, listened, and at no point did I feel rushed. I am happy to have found a great new primary care provider!
