Having just completed my second full bathroom remodel in the space of a year, I have shopped at many stone countertop shops in the Charlotte area. My best experience has been at East Coast Granite. I worked with Janice who is extremely knowledgeable and customer service oriented; I really appreciated it after I experienced less than stellar service at competing companies. Great selection and competitive pricing.

Absolutely awful. The communication is terrible both between their own employees and with the customer. They messed up the measurements with the backsplash on my bathroom counter. One of their employees told me they would measure and cut it a certain way and then they failed to do that so now my backsplash is too high and my mirror does not fit. They told me its my fault because I should have been the one to pass along that information from one employee to the other. Ive had to chase people down trying to speak to a manager and still havent gotten a phone call back from Victoria who said she would call me over a week ago. Laurie is incredibly rude and unhelpful, as well as passive aggressive. The employee who did the installation didnt clean up after himself leaving chunks of marble under the sink, and made me feel extremely uncomfortable asking me inappropriate questions about my relationship status. Even before they messed up, the communication was poor and I constantly had to follow up to find out when someone was going to come out to template, when installation would be scheduled, etc. I was given the wrong information about what needed to be done prior to templating which left me without water for 2 weeks unnecessarily. Its no wonder they require a 50% deposit because I f I hadnt already paid a deposit, I certainly would have cancelled. Now on top of the cost of the new countertops, Ive had to buy a new mirror since they refuse to call me back or rectify the issue. Save your money, go somewhere else!
