Tracy, it is unfortunate you felt the need to give our firm a negative rating. You were referred to me from a colleague/friend in Atlanta and I reached out to you as soon as I was provided your information. We connected and I throughly enjoyed our conversation. It was determined however that one of my team members would be a better fit due to the areas of Western NC that you were searching for property. I passed along your information and I have verification that the team member reached out but did not hear back from you. I went as far as telling my team member in a email "what a nice guy you were". Of course, I would always like for our team members to reach out several times although we do pride ourselves on not being a pushy real estate firm/agents. Interesting enough about 10 days or so after we connected I received a message from my colleague /friend who referred you and it seems there was a piece of land identified in the GA area that may fit your needs but there were some questions about septic. I happily assisted my colleague to find a solution to better service his client which was you. As a business owner I know we will not please everyone, that is impossible. The Court order was for the tenants to vacate the home. The tenants were living in the house that the estate of a deceased family member owned. There were multiple heirs in the estate. All of the other heirs wanted to sell except for you. At the time of listing you wanted to continue to live in the home and no rent was being paid. The listing agent did not make decisions for the estate. Your attorney represented you and the estate also had a different attorney. Your attorney was in communication with you about the sale and the timing or should have been.The house went under contract several times. It did take a while to sell the house because while you were living there, you did choose to limit the showing times that were available so buyers could not access the house very easily with their agents. It is important to make it easy to show a house when it is listed for sale, if you want it to sell fast.Once you moved out, there were personal items left behind that we had to hire people to haul away all the items. That also delayed the sale.As you said in your complaint, the Executor of the estate gave me instructions which I followed. As you stated, I rarely communicated to you except through the attorneys. I am sorry that you are unhappy with the process but all communication should came through your attorney as I was hired by the estate attorney to list and sell the home.
