The house was very inviting and had everything we needed. From the screened in porch, to the fire pit, to the hot tub, we enjoyed our time taking in the fall foliage with our dogs and son. The drive up the mountain is relatively easy (we followed the hosts directions, but Google Maps actually navigated us right to it), the surrounding area is beautiful (highly recommend Lake Junaluska and Waynesville nearby) in Maggie Valley and your so close to amazing hikes, breweries and restaurants. Definitely would stay again.

Went again this year and it was just as awesome and Ill be back again! Original review: This place was so perfect and the management/owners are very friendly to work with. Great location! The house itself is perfectly placed up a mountain with pretty views, a peaceful atmosphere, and a hot tub which was great for being sore after hiking! It is also close to many things to do. We enjoyed hiking, seeing waterfalls, going to breweries, shopping, sightseeing, just relaxing at the house...the Blue Ridge parkway is super close. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back!:) This year:Second time staying here and will be back! Love the location and love this house and the host is so nice and communicates so well. Had friends come in for one night too and we relaxed, went hiking, and used the amazing hot tub. Love that they are dog friendly and lots if cute places to go near there for that small.town mountain feel...or just stay at the house and relax and the perfect back porch or fire pit! Thanks for a great time once again!

My wife and I have been vacationing in the area for the past 12 - 15 years. This property is one of the nicest well kept and well appointed properties that we have experienced. The mountain view was pretty well covered by the lush foliage from the towering trees that surrounds the home. The screened in porch was wonderful, we were able sit outside in the evening, enjoy the clean mountain air and have an adult beverage or two. The kitchen was well appointed, salt pepper a range of spices and just about anything you would need to cook an average meal. The bathrooms were immaculate, as was the whole house. The towels were very nice quality and the gas fireplace was a nice appointment. Brandon was very attentive, although we really had no need to contact him. We were kept informed of the procedure for check-in well in advance of our arrival. Brandon notified us that the home was ready early and we were welcome to check in early. He texted us to make sure everything was up to par once we arrived. Overall this property is exactly as described. The one thing I would say to be aware of is that as a mountain property, an SUV would be advisable. We will most certainly plan on returning. I would give the home 10 stars. Rooms: The furniture was comfortable. The back bedroom had a sliding door to the screened in porch. The Kitchen was great with a nice dining area. The screened porch was great.

Nice place. Fairly private, very quiet and peaceful - nice place to unwind. The cabin was just right - two bedrooms, two full bathrooms (one in each bedroom) and was clean, comfortable, and well stocked complete with cable TV, reading materials, and games. The kitchen is well setup if you plan to prepare meals. Hot tub and back porch are great relaxation spots. Great location as it is close to the main strip in Maggie Valley and not far from other area attractions like GSM park, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Ashville. Brandon was very responsive and is a great host. The only small negative is the drive up and down the narrow, winding, down-to-one-lane mountain road / driveway...

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Smoky Mountain Treehouse. The house was so clean, organized and it had everything you can need. The screened in porch was wonderful, we were able to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. It was beautiful! The check in process was so easy with the keyless entry and communication with Brandon was great! He always responded quickly if we had any questions. The area had many restaurants, shops and activities close by. Socco falls, very close to the house in Maggie Valley and Deep Creek in Bryson City had beautiful falls to see and trail places to visit. Definitely recommend a stay at Smoky Mountain Treehouse!!!
