Looking for the perfect venue? Then look no further. My son and daughter-in-law chose The Barn at Shelton Farms for their wedding this past weekend. We had a great experience. It is absolutely beautiful. The owners are down to earth, very helpful, and wonderful to work with. And, when I say very helpful, I mean hands on helpful working with us to ensure everything was just how we wanted it. 100% highly recommend!!

If you want a beautiful venue, then yes, this is it. Although Ive seen better. However, its local, so it works. If youre looking for a place that has top notch service and people who go above and beyond to help make things go smoothly for your wedding day, this place aint it. Youll pay thousands of dollars for the venue - but if you want to stay in that shack they have on the property, itll be extra. If you lose power, youre out of luck. They dont have a generator and dont have an answer for you when you ask about what to do. Hopefully theyve learned a lesson after hurricane Ian came through. You also better have some generators of your own and know how to hook it up. But again, hopefully theyve learned the lesson. You better bring some man power with you because if you have to move around your tables and chairs - its on you. The grass - dont even walk on it, better yet - dont even look at it. You may get cussed out if you do. Yes, Im serious. You may want to ask for permission to do certain things for your party favors - smores is a no go and werent allowed. Are you cold? - you may want to start one yourself because after being asked multiples times, that fire pit is still cold today. They always say its good luck if it rains on your wedding day - but good luck with that - we werent allowed to even rent a tent. Speaking of rain, the shack was leaking water through the door. They were nice enough to bring us some towels but never brought back some more towels to use as promised. If youre wanting to have a fun entrance coming into the reception - you better keep it kosher - they dont like CLEANABLE mess. Theres plenty other examples I can give, but Ill spare the ridiculousness and just say that Im not impressed - neither are a lot of others - and it wasnt even my wedding. Wedding venue - ehh, itll get the job done. Service and hospitality - you better go spend thousands of dollars somewhere else. Ill add this - its not my first time being at this venue. The first experience was about the same as this time.

Breathtaking venue. Ive attended as guest and hosted a party here. The owners are very responsive and wonderful to work with. The wedding I attended was beautiful and the guest had plenty of room. 10/10 would recommend!

Such a beautiful venue for any event!!! But what makes this place over the top are the owners! Such sweet and accommodating people. They went above and beyond (within reason) to meet all our needs. By the time we left they felt more like family. Id highly recommend considering them for your next event. Because of the beauty of this venue and the hospitality of the owners it made ours brides wedding day absolutely magical.
