This is for a rented property. Remax is the property management company for a private lady from whom we are renting. This house is the absolute WORST house I have ever lived in. No net screens on windows (so cant open windows even in the summers lest bugs come in). We BEGGED the owner to install screens and she finally added one screen in the kitchen window. Then, no shower rods in the bathrooms. No proper drainage pipes in bathroom sinks- had to beg them to finally get it installed. Then the worst problem of all- BUGS!!! Roaches! Ants! Its disgusting! And the property managers completely wash their hands of this problem saying pest control is tenants responsibility. How is that the tenants responsibility when we saw big roaches within a few hours of moving in? I wish there was a place where I could report this negligence, its disgusting! According to NC law, the landlord is responsible to make the place habitable, and roaches make the place uninhabitable. These people need to do their job!!! We could literally find no place for rent when we were looking so we were stuck here, but we will be moving out in a couple months. But do yourself a favor, and do not come here! Please dont!
