        I highly recommend TCD Construction! I had them do an addition and I cannot express enough how satisfied I am with their quality of work and the continuous communication throughout the project. They provided me with all the costs up front, which was much appreciated! The addition was completed in a timely manner and they answered any questions that I had along the way and provided me with updates! Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

        Beautiful custom homes and experience! If you are looking for a custom built home in the Lake Gaston region, definitely consider TCD as an option!

        While structure of house seems sound, TCD takes no responsibility for their subcontractors or suppliers.After 4.5 months still waiting on 10 screens that do not fit to be replaced. TCD’s response “That is between you and supplier. “Sewer failed in three days after moving in and now states that is between me, association and septic company that TCD hired. Not TCD issue.Did not complete cubbies and butler pantry per plans. TCD first said that was responsibility of their cabinet sub, who said no that’s finishing carpenter and TCD said house was more expense to build due to pandemic and inflation. So much for “drop dead price”.

      Mr. Knox - I am sorry you felt this way while building with your home. Typically, is it our policy to allow the homeowners to directly work with the subcontractors to help minimize the confusion during that part of the process. Understandably sometimes this is not as smooth a process as one would hope. To address your concerns, I was unaware that you were missing screens and if that is still an issue, please let me know so I may address it personally. The sewer issue was the main with the equipment the subdivision installed and refused to fix. Ultimately our company was the one who foot the bill to repair the issue even after the agreed upon allowance for the septic was already met. Again as I previously stated that sometimes there is confusion within the subs. The cabinets and built-ins were part of an allowance and if you were unable to stay within that budget to obtain those items that decision was on you. We did however state several times that we do not complete built-ins or cubbies they are part of the cabinet allowance. We only have a few allowances within our contracts and try to help our homeowner stay within their budget as much as possible.
