        The wagons are so clean and comfy. They had everything we needed. We were able to keep some leftovers in the fridge and heat them up for snacks. The bathrooms were immaculate! We had coffee in the mornings at Front Street Coffee in Lillington. We also ate at Sweet Magnolias, which was great. Be prepared to hear planes, trains and automobiles at night.

        My husband, our 6 year old and I stayed 3 nights in a wagon at The Cozy Heron recently and had a phenomenal experience! We wanted a unique setting for our little one with the primary goal being to unplug for a bit. The wagon was so very comfortable and the A/C was helpful as we had some nice, warm days. The bathhouse was super clean and even had A/C as well. Megan was very responsive and pleasant to communicate with before, during and after our stay. The grill area is super cute and functional. We loved grilling out, making s'mores, playing Jenga and hanging out by the fire. We found a really neat playground within walking distance, hiked at Raven Rock and visited an animal sanctuary not too far away. 10 out of 10 for sure! We would definitely stay there again.

      Hello, and welcome to Cape Fear River Adventures! Our only goal is to share our passion for paddling and the outdoors with as many of you as we can! We offer Lazy River Tubing and rental of Canoes, Kayaks and Paddle Boards! Covering 25 miles of the river with trips from 1 hour to 2 days, flat or whitewater, we have adventures for curious beginners on up to the seasoned outdoors-person! We also teach kayaking and paddle board classes, offer guided whitewater trips in rafts or whitewater kayaks, do paddle board yoga, sunset paddles, river cleanup, offer youth summer camp, and other fun events!
