image My son and daughter-in-law needed a new water heater. They were told by this company that they needed an expansion tank and shut off valves as well. They had to pay upfront (due to agreement with home warranty company) which they did. Mr. Speedy installed the water heater. When my son came home from work he noticed that the expansion tank was not installed. When the called them he was told that "they don't need one!" Well, why did you bill them for one and make them pay upfront for something they "don't need" and they aren't coming back to install it, but will refund the money for the tank???????????

This is false and untrue. Our tech forgot to install the expansion tank and we offered several times to return and install. The man of the house said he had rather have the money back for it which WE REFUNDED HIM. We work for American Home Shield. They make the decisions on what is charged not Speedy Plumbing.

image I have waited to make this review as I never want to hurt a local business, this is actually my first negative review that I've ever posted online. However, I cannot allow others to hire this company without first knowing how they handle business and treat their clients.
ServPro contracted Speedy plumbing to install a dishwasher, kitchen sink and garbage disposal for me. It took weeks for them to show up, luckily my project manager was handling this part, so I have limited information on how the scheduling conversations went. Charles finally arrived around 4pm on 10/31, he did not have the correct equipment and told me that he was not given all of the information about what needed to be done in my home. Charles left as he was not prepared to complete the job. I spoke with my ServPro project manager over the phone and explained what happened, and Charles came back a second time on the evening of 10/31 to make a list of the items he needed.
Charles returned on 11/01 at 6am to complete the job, he was in my kitchen for hours and ran the water to show me he was finished. I trusted his word, signed the paperwork and he left. Bear in mind that construction had been going on in my home since June at this point and I had been without a kitchen sink since July.
My new dishwasher leaked into the newly reconstructed cabinets on the first run (Sunday 11/5) after Charles installed it. I found out later (on Sunday 11/5 when I hired an emergency plumber to come out) that Charles didn't lock the garbage disposal in place, and he removed some items that needed to be installed (some sort of sewage cap?) in addition to using the wrong hoses and fittings which caused the leak to occur. I invited Charles into my home 3 times over the course of two days and gave him 3 attempts to complete this job. I hired a different company after my dishwasher leaked because I chose not to deal with the poor customer service and disrespect that I received from Charles. It was worth it to me to pay for the job twice.
I have never asked Texas (the company owner), Charles or the woman who runs the phones for any refund or reimbursement. I will never ask for monetary compensation, I'm considering this a lesson learned and a charitable donation to a local business. I'm posting this review to tell my story and warn others.
I will never use Speedy plumbing again and already recommended that ServPro stop working with them as well.
*After posting my initial review, the woman who seems to be the primary administrative worker replied in a very nasty way. I chose to call to help her understand my post as she said the project was 2 months ago, which is untrue. I thought that maybe she had mixed up the files. I also wrongly interpreted the "WHY didn't you call?" as a request to call versus discuss this online. Further, there is a negative review about Charles on the Speedy Plumbing Facebook page from 08/09/2023, despite her insisting that no one has ever complained about Charles. I understand that negative reviews are difficult but that does not excuse being rude and nasty to customers.
***When I was finally able to connect with the administrative woman that replied and Texas Cheney, the Owner. I asked the woman to explain her response and asked her to apologize for her behavior. She responded by calling me a name and hanging up the phone. I called again to ask for an apology and Texas verbally threatened to call the Sheriff on me if I call them again. Neither party was interested in hearing about my experience, both of them raised their voices at me and called my names. I also have a very nasty voicemail recording from Texas that I found to be threatening and intimidating. What I learned is that this company did not care about my home or the service they were hired to provide in my home and they certainly have not shown me an ounce of respect.

After 2 months of this work being completed WHY have you not called the office if there were issues. If there was an issue with Charles a call immediately would have been great not 2 months later. After speaking with ServPro, they are not showing any concerns from you. This is the only complaint we have ever had on Charles so it leads me to believe that it may not have been an issue with him. Update: What a joke this lady is....she has called harassing 16 times within 24 hours. Yes, we said we would call the sheriff for harassment. She is wanting everything for nothing. Businesses beware of her!

image I wish I could give 10 Stars. Appointment was made yesterday for this morning. Tech called at 745 said he would arrive at 810. He was spot on and it is now 819 he has left and job complete. Speedy Plumbing isn't just a catchy name. Charles was extremely professional and speedy. Thank you for the help Happy Holidays!!

image Terrible customer service! Hopefully AHS will No Longer allow them to do business with them! Totally unprofessional! Wish there was an option for a zero star. Stay away.

We work for AHS and are told if a homeowner does not answer our call or text to come for appt wr move on. We moved to another appt today and when you FINALLY replied the tech was a long way from your home. When you called the office and I tried to reschedule I was being yelled and cussed at so I hung up. No one should have to deal with that!
