Called them by mistake because the name is very similar to the company we use. Totally my fault in that regard. Three guys spent 15 minutes changing a filter we supplied. They were an hour late, by the way. We were charged $160. I called and was told that my complaint was horrible, too bad, that's what they charge. Do not recommend! **I have been asked to delete my negative review. I have chosen to simply state the facts.** Three guys showed up an hour after the scheduled appointment time. My husband was waiting so that made him an extra hour late for work. We had already purchased the filter. My husband held the bucket that drained the water. My husband carried the water outside and dumped it. My husband cleaned up the mess after everything was finished. The entire visit lasted 15 minutes. I do not believe the outside pump was checked because that would have required removing all the decorative rocks and they didn't seem to be disrupted. It's easy to tell, but I could be wrong. I was with the guys who previously did this job and they were wonderful. They carefully raked away the rocks, unwrapped the pump, checked it, then securely wrapped it again, and raked the rocks back in place. Checking the pump took more than 15 minutes. I really liked those two guys. They made sure the rocks were neat and tidy. Back to this year -- we were charged $160 for what was mainly the filter change, which again, we provided. I called and said I thought that was an unreasonable price for 15 minutes and with my husband doing most of the grunt work. I was told on the phone, "Too bad, that's what we charge." A more compassionate response would have kept me from getting mad. I said I found that price for 15 minutes of work, using a filter we supplied, and my husband doing a lot of the work, to be horrible. I was told, "You are horrible!!" Again, perhaps a kinder response would have kept me from writing the review. In fact, any effort to at least listen to me would have inspired me to write a GOOD review. That's what I do. I love to promote businesses who treat customers with dignity and respect. We paid the bill. Anyone reading this can decide whether or not they want to use this company.

I was having an issue with no water, I called A 1st and they said they could be out the next day. At 3pm I called to see when they were coming and was told that some of their crew were in an accident and they were running late. Two guys showed up an hour later and and had no idea about an accident. They checked the well and determined it stopped producing and I'd have to drill deeper. They said someone would deffinately contact me later that day. It's now a week later and still haven't heard from them. They left me hanging and it was too late to contact anyone else because it was two days before Christmas! If you have an emergency, STAY AWAY from A 1st. They just don't care! When a company tells you that they will DEFINITELY call you back the same day to discuss your options, knowing that you are in a bind, and you never hear from them again, ask yourself, is that a company that you want to deal with?
