I ordered over the phone for pick up. When I got to the restaurant I was greeted with smiles. The warmth of welcoming me generated off the owners of the place. The food was good. Homemade coleslaw, cornbread muffin, and seasoned fries helped make the meal. The cost is very affordable and with the size of the plates you get great value for what you pay. The plate had weight to it, it was not light. I took a few menus to place at work and I hope this place stays in business a long time. I highly recommended it for the hospitality, pricing value, and quantity of food you get.

This is a great family owned restaurant. I had a combination plate of trout and shrimp. Cooked hot and fresh! I also got slaw and fries. Everything was great! Customer service was great as well. The coleslaw had a great flavor also. This is the place to go for fried seafood in Kinston for sure! The serving size was very generous. When you walk in you can tell they take pride in their place of business because of how CLEAN it was. I hate to say it but many restaurants forget about taking time to clean the dining area thoroughly, but Catch 22 gets an A+ in this department. Thank you for satisfying my palate today! I will definitely return!
