Rhodesdale Farm

The store has a large selection of products, even outside of the growing season, with lots of meats and butters and jams and nuts and more. However, they have a lot of products that arent labeled with a price. That makes it difficult to decide what to buy, when you dont like asking over and over what the cost is for an item. The people who own or run the store also stood over us, stared at us the whole time and kept badgering us while we were in the store. That was not anxiety friendly at all. I dont like shop owners who make me feel like they think Im a thief. That alone will keep me from going back often, even with all the resources the shop offers.

This is our favorite place to buy a Christmas tree- the staff is friendly and the tree selection is great and not overwhelming! We also usually end up with some other great goodies from the shop inside. During the summer we also stop in regularly for great produce.

We visited Rhodesdale Farm today for our family Christmas tree and we're just as impressed this year with our tree as last years. Except last year we went to their temporary tree stand on the other side of town and didn't realize it was also Rhodesdale until after we had already left. So this year I told my husband we have to go to their actual store, and I'm glad we did. Because I had the chance to see their selection of beautiful and Local honey, jams, salsas, and the elderberry syrup!! I bought a jar of Elderberry Honey that they carry and it is Delicious. But I will be going back for some homemade salsa, apple butter and a few of their different flavors of jams (which all look delicious). The folks who took care of us today were so kind and welcoming too, and we just don't see enough of that anymore. So I will definitely be back and will share with others to visit as well!!

Edit as of 11.18.22 Called to ask about prices of 6 ft Christmas trees and the lady was very rude on the phone (this was at 10:15am on 11.18.22, so....you know who you are). I buy vegetables and whatnot there all the time but I will not be going back. She told me she had no idea the prices because the trees just came in last night. That is not true because my fiance and I rode by there, and they were set up before close of business. It's not as if they literally came in and were waiting to be set up. How do you not know how much they are by their height before the start of the next business day? (Was told they range from $59 to over $200). Will be going down the road for my tree. It's amazing how someone can turn your Christmas cheer upside down. Thanks! Their fresh veggies and fruits are yummy
