H&R Block

Beware of this place. Just had my taxes done there. Was there 26 minutes and got 4 pieces of paper. Total cost, $480.00.What a scam of a place. Will not go back and will not recommend to anyone else.

Awful experience. I uploaded my paperwork in early March for a fully online, "never set foot in store" service. I gave it a few weeks before reaching out to the main corporate number where they had to bump it again to make sure it was seen. Then when I was finally able to connect with the Kernersville office, I was told the paperwork was there for me to sign in person. Because I was expecting to have everything online I asked "oh, I need to come in person?" and the response was "have you never done taxes before?" followed by laughter. The entire experience I spoke to all HR block employees with respect and kindness knowing that the delays were not purposeful and to be met with such unbelievable disrespect was shocking. When I went into the store the next day, there was a sign on the door saying "we will reopen on x date" which was the following Wednesday. Which was understandably confusing but because I was told to come in I walked right in. When another person came in and lightheartedly said he thought they were closed (because of the sign that said they were closed) they acted as if it was a stupid thing to think. When he left they continued to speak negatively about him and said things like "well what did he think that big green sign outside meant?". All in all, just a bad experience with rude people and I hope HR Block doesn't want this to be their reputation.
