I managed tire shops for 2 competitors before I started my own business, so this is only the second time I've taken a vehicle somewhere I didn't work. I was traveling through NC on my way to Virginia when two of my tires developed a leak about an hour before they were due to close. I didn't catch the technician's name, but he was super friendly, courteous, and eager to help. None of the passive-aggressive nonsense you might get at some shops right before close. He was knowledgeable yet not condescending or over explaining at all, just a very approachable down-to-earth way of communicating with customers. I was impressed

Dropped my car off for balance and rotation in the afternoon. Mechanic discouraged me from leaving the car overnight but never received a call that it was done until the next day. Not really sure why its a big deal to leave a car overnight but everyone I interacted with made it sound like that was a big issue. If thats the case, tighter communication on when my vehicle is ready for pickup would resolve this issue instead of the passive-aggressive nonsense I experienced. Short story, looking forward to returning back to Discount Tirebetter service, no gripe. Better to pay a little more for better service I suppose

They took the time to properly assess and fix a slow leak in one of my valve stems during my recent visit. Quality and affordable tires with friendly customer service.
