First impression through the quoting process was that this is a professional company. Tanya, the office manager, was very organized and offered great communication when it came to scheduling a visit for a quote, and scheduling the work itself. Richard backfilled roughly 150’ of retaining wall that I had built, and fine graded my yard, plowed some nutrients into the dirt, formed several mulch beds, and seeded for my future lawn. Quote was competitive and the work was completed professionally, and quickly.

We had a new build home and the landscaping by the builder was minimal at best and did not accentuate our home. We researched landscapers in our area and saw Richard’s website. He came to our home to give us a free quote. We could immediately tell that Richard had a vision for our home’s yard. Richard worked side by side with his team to beautify our yard and we couldn’t be more pleased. Our home looks entirely different with the variety of colors and textures from the plants and flowerbeds we now have. Richard has a talent! He saw the potential of what could be a beautiful lawn from absolutely nothing. We are using Richard again this spring to add more to the backyard!

I had a great experience with this company. Tanya made scheduling our project easy. Richard provided a very thoughtful consult listening carefully to the needs of our family’s backyard landscape goals. The project was executed as agreed and the team was friendly and professional during the project. We are so satisfied and proud of our new yard. Cant wait for them to come back and help with the front!

Late-October 2019, Richard Laney complete landscaping at my home. Late-Summer 2020, I contacted him and sent photos of two emerald green arborvitae, which he planted, that had turned yellow. Both plants had faded to yellow each totally lacking any green branches. He came to my home to check the plants and the irrigation that he installed around the plants. His instruction was to wash down the plants with water, and continue to regularly water. When he inferred my dogs were the cause, I fenced off each plant the same evening. I trusted his professional instruction and words that the plants would improve.
My large male dogs, who oddly squat, are not able to do so over 5-6’ plants. The fencing prevents even brushing against the plants. Charlotte had mild temperatures through Fall and Winter with regular rain. The two continued to declined changing from yellow to dry brown.
The landscaping is lovely, but Laney does not stand behind his product. He does, of course, support replacement. This at a charge because I was contacting him past one year.
The plants were dead when I initially contact him. Richard Laney chose not to replace the plants within the year period. Instead, he offered “professional” advise and deflected his accountability in standing behind his product. He pushes out past the year then charges for replacements.
Not a tactic of which I would personally be proud.
