I've hired North Meck Plumbing (NMP) twice now. Both times Robbie (owner) came to the house and spoke honestly about the issues. In both cases, I also got quotes from other "big brand" companies that were exponentially higher than NMP. Roto-Rooter for example, tried to pressure my wife into paying $7000 to fix a broken sewer pipe in the yard, and NMP did it the same day for only $1200. Most recently, I had Robbie evaluate my current plumbing which uses Polybutylene (PB). The other company wanted to charge $15,000 to replace all the PB (not including drywall, so potentially double that). Robbie went throughout and under the house and explained that we have the newest PB fittings, and that checking the water pressure was the surest way to make sure we won't have any issues. Total cost was $600 for new expansion tank and Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV). I will definitely call North Meck Plumbing next time.
