        My husband and I had dinner last night in the new bar. The bartender was great. We both ordered salads, I had the spinach and my husband the Ceasar, with grilled shrimp. While the salads were tasty, the presentation left a lot to be desired. I guess I watch too much Food Network. :) The salad bowls looked like 60's woven wood. Mine had a big chip on the side. These salads would be so much more appealing on a white plate where all the ingredients would shine.

        I truly enjoyed my first experience at The village diner. Tony really knows how to make an amazing cocktail! He's super friendly and really knowledgeable. I had the spinach salad and it was truly to die for! I will definitely be back!

        BLT didnt have the LT? pizza crust was good but the toppings were so salty it was hard to enjoy. It was ok, not for the cost though. It was our first time, but probably wont be back.

      Hi John, I am sorry that we were not quite up to your standard, and I agree with you that your food should not have been oversalted. Also, a BLT would definitely not be a BLT without the LT. First and foremost, those plates should not have made it to the table incomplete and over seasoned. Secondly, we would have been more than happy to have fixed that for you and used it as a training opportunity for some of our new staff members. We are not perfect, but we can always be better! Thank you for taking the time to give us some feedback. We do use the information that you share constructively to better hone in on our systems and operations to the best that they can be.
